Description

(Disinfectant)

Composition

Povidone iodine 10% (w/v) equivalent to 1.0% Iodine.

Indications and properties:

– Iodine is a broad-spectrum disinfectant that acts actively against a wide range of microorganisms, viruses fungus, and spores in cattle, horses, dogs, cats, and poultry.

– Is reduced in the presence of organic materials.

– Doesn’t harm mucus membranes in high concentrations.

– It’s effective against the Avian Influenza Virus.

– Topical antiseptic to aid in the prevention of infection.

Uses:

– Apply full-strength as often as needed. Wet the area thoroughly to ensure complete coverage and penetration but avoid pooling. It may be covered with a bandage if necessary.

–  General disinfectant, dilution rate 2:250 (40 ml/ 5 liter water)

–  Foot bath, dilution rate 2:100

–  Fumigation dilution rate 2:500

–  Drinking water system dilution rate 2:1500

Remarks:

– For External use only. Avoid contact with eyes, it may be harmful if swallowed.

– If infection or irritation develops, discontinue use and consult a veterinarian.

– Keep away from chemicals.

– Keep away from the reach of children.

– Clean empty bottles before discarding them.

– Not to be mixed with water of a temperature over 38° C.

Storage:

Store in a dark and dry place at a temperature below 30^oC.
